Manu plays the lead role of ‘Sati’, a part associated with great devotion and respect. When the owner of the troupe decides to replace Manu for Dilbur, a woman, Manu’s world collapses. Disbur is raunchy and dresses provocatively for a role that is associated with god-like ideals. How will the villagers react to this change? How will Manu handle this turn of events? |
