However as he grew up, he lost touch with her. After a long gap of 8 years, he visits her. Maasi is delighted to see Manohar but he senses something about her condition that disturbs him. He realises the extent of her loneliness; the cheerfulness that she exudes is merely a faade to avoid sympathy from others. Manohar resolves to take care of his Maasi and in covering up for his absence tries to make her feel special in unique ways, of which one backfires. Realising that he has hurt his Maasi by his act, he is very contrite and promises her of his quick return. But as soon he reaches home, he forgets about his promises. While Maasi is left, waiting... |
