He tries to excuse himself but a village matriarch sends Aramagal along. There is awkwardness at first between the two, and then more discomfort and drama as a stuck up Kaarthic gets to know the tragic but free spirited Aramagal. In the little time that they spend with each other, each of them finds something they had been missing in their own lives. It is borrowed time for both, and both come away older, wiser and freer. With a little loss and lot of longing.
